Affiliate Disclosure
How we earn money and how that affects what you read.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL. When you click a link on Luctura and subsequently subscribe to a platform or purchase a product, we may receive a commission from that company. The price you pay is identical to what you would pay going directly — affiliate commissions are paid by the company, not added to your cost.
Which links are affiliate links?
Links to online learning platforms (Coursera, Udemy, Skillshare, MasterClass, LinkedIn Learning, and others) are typically affiliate links. Amazon product links use our Amazon Associates tracking tag (tag=luctura-20). These are labelled throughout the site with notes like "affiliate link" or "we may earn a commission."
Does this affect our reviews?
No. Our ratings, verdicts, and recommendations reflect our genuine assessment of each platform — based on direct use, not commission rates. We recommend platforms we believe are good value for specific learner types. We actively recommend against platforms or highlight caveats where warranted, regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with them.
If a platform increases its price, reduces its quality, or changes its terms in ways that affect our recommendation, we update the relevant content.
Amazon Associates
Luctura is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Book and equipment recommendations that link to Amazon use affiliate tracking.
