About Luctura
Independent reviews for people who take learning seriously.
What we do
Luctura reviews online learning platforms and courses. We review and compare Coursera, Udemy, Skillshare, MasterClass, LinkedIn Learning, and others so you can make a confident, informed choice — without wading through marketing copy or paid-placement rankings.
Every review on this site is based on structured research into the platform: course catalogues and syllabi, pricing and certificate processes, platform documentation, and aggregated feedback from real learners — with cost-to-value assessed against what each platform actually delivers. No platform pays to be listed, reviewed favourably, or ranked above a competitor.
How we make money
Luctura earns affiliate commissions when readers click through to a platform and subscribe. This means we have a financial interest in you clicking — which is exactly why we are transparent about it on every page. Our editorial positions do not change based on affiliate relationships. If a platform is not worth your money, we say so.
We also use Amazon affiliate links in articles that recommend books and equipment. These are clearly labelled.
Editorial standards
- No sponsored content or paid placements
- No rankings that reflect commission rates rather than quality
- Affiliate disclosure on every article and review
- Content reviewed and updated when platforms change pricing, features, or quality
- Dates on every article reflect when content was last verified
