It's vendor-neutral, widely understood by HR, and the clearest signal of baseline security competence.
Google Cybersecurity Certificate is newer but growing fast in employer recognition, particularly at the companies in Google's hiring partner network. It's more practical and less exam-focused than Security+.
CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) are respected credentials for penetration testers — OSCP especially is considered the gold standard in offensive security.
